ugh. my laptop failed last night so i was forced to piece together my home box again - a cyrix 233 with shit for ram. it's reinforced the fact that i need a new home computer. apparently tim has an in with someone who can score me a 600mhz duron for about fifteen bucks, so i think i may go for that. if i can get down to the trw swap this weekend i'll probably pick up a case and some other stuff. i figure i can piece together a barebones system for about $300-375 and then sink some money into a video card that does tv out at 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 so i can patch it into my tv and play divx movies and fuck around online from the comfort of my bed.
