do yourself a favor add this line to your host file:
64.71.163.204 cddb.cddb.org
why? cddb is evil. the ip address belongs to the folks at freedb who provide a service that works exactly like cddb - in some ways it's quite a bit nicer. they aren't working on inflated ego license schemes and lord knows who they'll sell the information of what compact discs you've played to if they get the chance. so protect your ass now or possibly pay later.
