okay, i couldn't watch the keynote stream and i didn't make it down to an apple store to check it out... but i've been scouring the web all morning and apple's finally given up the goods - the big product from apple is now the seventeen inch tial-book [the "al" is for aluminum. aircraft grade to be exact. thanks ghent!]. christ, i feel dirty just looking at it. fourteen.forty by nine.hundred seventeen inch display, one gig g4, backlit keyboard [with ambient light sensors even], wifi antenna built in the screen, onboard bluetooth. i lust for it, but alas i know i will eventually have to settle for a twelve inch ibook.
