it would seem that apple's courting indie labels for their itunes music store. one of the folks from cd baby took some notes at a meeting that between apple and a large ammount of smaller labels that had to be removed due to the meeting being confidential. thanks to the magic of the interweb however gnutella news has a mirror of the notes.
from the sound of it, apple wants to be the conduit for all digital music sales wether it be big label or small one. fortunatley, the bands who participate have to be signed to or work with one of the labels apple met with last night so there's no risk of the itunes music store being flooded with shitty teenage garage bands who recorded their stuff on the built in microphone of a my first sony tape deck. y'know, like mp3.com...
