- the rss reader in safari supports atom.
- automator makes scripting common tasks easy. it's sort of like applescript for joe user.
- spotlight should simplifiy finding data. if it launched applications, i wouldn't need quicksilver anymore.
- mmm... metadata engine.
- mail.app will have smart folders.
- apple's pushing 64-bit computing.
- the multiple user video chat view in ichat looks sweet.
i'm not sure how well any of this will run on a g3/900 ibook, so it may be time to consider trading up to a powebook before they release it.

hopefully it is like panther's release, where things got slightly faster, if anything.

i hope so. actually, i'd like to install a copy on an external hard drive just so i can play around with it. i don't think i can wait until the first of the year to get to some of these features.
