rebranding iron

all thru this dashboard/konfabulator controversy i've sort of noticed something funny. a lot of people refer to the developers as "arlo & perry" [as they should, seeing as how that's their first names and all...] which sounds an awful lot like:

• an opening act for the grateful dead
• a downtempo group [possibly from europe]
• a vaudeville comedy team

so if the whole programmer thing doesn't work out, they've already got the name locked for a brand new field.
