according to intel, orange county is the fifth most unwired city in the us. of course this title can be confusing... being an unwired city is a good thing - it means that there are a fair number of wireless hotspots that let people hop on the net almost anywhere they want to go. so even tho portland, san francisco, austin and seattle beat orange county we still came out on top over washington dc, san diego, ventura, denver and boston.
my only question is, with all the community wireless projects going on in new york and things like the coverage map of manhattan how did they come out twenty.third?
