after having access to dachb0den's internal d.amp server over the course of my stay in san diego, i've become rather addicted to it. for those of you not in the know d.amp is a nice, simple web interface for queing mp3's on the loft's stereo system. available from the wireless network, the all the flat's inhabitants had to do was fire up their laptop and they could play dj for everyone else. i've had a lot of fun and met a lot of great new people this week, but i'll probably miss d.amp the most. [well, d.amp and ada. i'll definatley miss her as well.]
i've been happy to learn that dave and tim have offered up the code online so i can get my own d.amp server running at home.
